Letter from Mahd-i ‘Ulya to Nasir al-Din Shah, 1863 or 1864
Mahd-i ‘Ulya responds to Nasir al-Din Shah's letter and explains how her servants found the petition the soldiers threw into their yard. She then requested ‘Ayn al-Mulk deliver the petition to Nasir al-Din Shah. Mahd-i ‘Ulya also mentions Amin al-Mulk asking her to reassure the soldiers that they could go and receive their wages from him.

Letter from Afshar elders to ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma which elaborates on how Taymur Khan (from Lar) has treated them with extreme cruelty, including making Zawq ‘Ali’s wife [daughter of Shahnah (sheriff) Ghulam] marry his servant, Muhammad Khan, and prevented them from going to their winter pastures. They ask ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma for justice.

Letter from Hashim to ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma which includes a report of how Shahnah (sheriff) Ghulam made her daughter, who was already the wife of Zawq‘ali, marry Shahnah (sheriff) Muhammad, son of Shahnah (sheriff) Haydar. After this unacceptable marriage, she and Shahnah (sheriff) Muhammad had to escape to Minab. Hashim asks Farmanfarma how to deal with the case of Shahnah (sheriff) Muhammad and his brother, Shahnah (sheriff) ‘Abbas.

Complaint letter asking for justice
A group of elders complain to the addressee about how their nomadic tribe is prevented from accessing their winter pastures by Timur Khan's actions. Also, they mention the unacceptable marriage of Zawq ‘Ali’s wife (daughter of Shahnah (sheriff) Ghulam) and Muhammad (son of Shahnah (sheriff) Haydar), and ask the addressee for justice.

Letter to Nasir al-Din Shah, 1864 or 1865
The writer reports on attendance in the ceremony celebrating the Shah's birthday, the well-being of princesses and people of the harem, and services by gatekeepers and other servants. He mentions informing Mahd-i ‘Ulya about completing construction in Niyavaran and her decision about returning after the tenth for a lucky arrival time. The writer has also prepared for bringing other members of the harem. He adds that upon the addressee's request they have received part of Fakhr al-Muluk’s stipend from Mu‘ayyir al-Mamalik.

Petition by Ihtisham al-Dawlah's wife
Majd al-Dawlah's daughter (wife of Ihtisham al-Dawlah) writes to Nayib al-Saltanah, explaining how neither her father nor her husband could support her financially. She asks for a new job for her husband or a stipend for herself, so she could support her children and servants.

‘Izzat al-Saltanah writes about her travel: first on the way from Tehran to Qum, Mahmud Khan was thrown out of the carriage, but only had minor injuries on his hands, thus Khanum [their mother, Khadijah Sultan] sacrificed a few sheep.
